Joyce Phillips Watts

A graveside service for Joyce Phillips Watts, 91, of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dale Walters will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside in the church Fellowship Hall.

Mrs. Watts, widow of Floyd “Bud” Watts died Saturday, October 14, 2017. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was a daughter of the late Minton Wesley, Sr. and Deanie Robinson Phillips. She retired from Springs Industries after 46 years of service and was a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Wayne (Renee) Watts; 3 grandchildren, Heather, Barbara and Miranda; 5 great grandchildren and her brother, Minton (Carol) Phillips and a sisters-in-law, Frankie Phillips and Kathy Phillips. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donnie and J.W. and 3 sisters, Ethel, Dot and Faye.
