Funeral service for Jose Ruben Miranda Contreras, 28, will be held at his home in La Mesa de Atotonilco, Mexico. Burial will be in La Mesa.

Jose died accidentally Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Bethune, S.C. Born in La Mesa, he was the son of Donato Miranda Sanchez and Lidia Isadora Contreras Rosas. He was employed by Holton Farms in Bethune, S.C.

Surviving are his wife; Norma Luna Martinez, three children; Daniel Osvaldo Miranda Luna, Lili Estefani Miranda Luna and Karla Miranda Luna, his parents all of La Mesa. Also surviving are his brother Carmen Miranda Miranda of La Mesa.
