Jolynn Farmer

A funeral service for JoLynn Williams Farmer, 78 of Bethune will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Timrod Baptist Church, Bethune. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Jim Wallace, Joe Stines and Curtis Cameron will officiate. Mrs. Farmer died Thursday, January 10, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Reese and Cletus Connell Williams. She retired from the Textile Industry and was a member of Timrod Baptist Church. She also enjoyed her time spent doing activities with Adult Day Care and her family. She was married to the late Ernest Brasington Farmer, Sr. Surviving are 3 sons; Ernest “Sonny” Farmer, Jr. and his wife Linda of Bethune, Larry Farmer and his wife Jean of Bethune, Jimmy Lynn Farmer and his wife Paula of Kershaw, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 brothers; Bruce, Howard and Wayne Williams all of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers; Emerson, Cullen, Jerry, Daryl , Robert and Mitchell Williams and a sister; Shelby Jean Hicks. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall and anytime at the home, 4054 Timrod Rd., Bethune.
