Johnny Williams

Graveside services for Johnny C. Williams, 80, of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Thorn Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Heath Springs. Rev. Jamie Rogers will officiate. Mr. Williams died Thursday, October 4, at Lancaster Convalescent Center, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Landy Boyd and Oree Hilton Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church where he had served as the former janitor. He also had been a paper carrier for the State Newspaper. Surviving are his brother, Jack Williams and his wife Elizabeth of St. Mary’s Ohio, 2 nieces; Doris (Norm) Schoonover, and Darlene (Mark) Santore, 3 nephews; Jack (Linda) Williams, John Boyd (Dawn) Williams and Todd (Carol) Williams and 10 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Friday, October 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
