Funeral services for Johnny Leon Vincent, 56, of Riegelwood, N.C. and formerly of Kershaw, S.C. will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2011, in Buffalo Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Vincent died Thursday, June 23, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, N.C. Born in Camden, S.C. he was the son of John Wade and Edith Threatt Vincent. He was an electrician with International Paper in Riegelwood. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, Chester, S.C. and loved playing the guitar.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Kershaw are his son; Jonathan Vincent of Riegelwood and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death this past February by his sister; Jan V. Kinard of Chester, S.C.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Buffalo Baptist Church Family Life Center and other times at the home of his parents, 439 Sunshine Lane, Kershaw.
