John Broome

John Broome, 52 of Kershaw died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late George Alton and Lillian Vincent Broome. Mr. Broome worked in construction and was a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church, Heath Springs. Mr. Broome will be cremated and the family will hold a remembrance service at the home. Surviving are his wife of 9 years, Tammy Faulkenberry Broome of the home; a son, Steven Catoe of Kershaw; 3 step-sons, Richard Faulkenberry of Kershaw, Jonathon Mobley of Martinsville, VA, Cody Mobley of Kershaw; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Evon Branham (David), Nancy Knight (Phil), Debbie Butler (Leo), Janet Kay Adams and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Broome (Deb White).
