Joan Elaine Taylor

Memorial services for Joan Rollings Taylor, 56, will be held Thursday, October 21, at 3:00 p.m. at New Haven Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Metcalf officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan Taylor Memorial Fund, c/o Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, SC.

Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday. October 19, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of William Rollings and the late Margaret Loutee Deese Rollings. Mrs. Taylor was formerly employed with US Textile in Lancaster and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, John S. Taylor; father and step-mother, William and Melita Rollings; sisters, Gail Stover ( Alan) of Westville, and Ann Powell (Aaron) of Lancaster; brothers, Gary Rollings of Kershaw, Timmy Rollings of Pageland, and Stanley Rollings (Tina) of Lancaster; step sisters, Linda Copeland (Keith) of Lancaster, and Ginger Duncan (Charlie) of Kershaw; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Sylvia Ann Taylor of Kershaw; brother-in-law, Byron E. Taylor (Marilyn) of Pageland. She was predeceased by 2 nephews.
