Jo Ann M. Hudson

Jo Ann Mosley Hudson, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away on her 79th birthday, Monday, October 30, 2023, at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William B. Mosley and Elizer Louise Blackwell Mosley. She was a licensed cosmetologist for many years and a member of Destiny Bible Church, Lancaster, S.C. Mrs. Hudson retired from Kershaw School District as a cafeteria dietitian. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, shopping and working in her garden.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 55 years, Billy Ray Hudson of the home; 4 children, Sherry Roberts and her husband, Chris of Lancaster, S.C., Stephanie Griffin and her husband, Harold of Camden, S.C. Billie Jo Harris and her husband, Clinton of Kershaw, S.C. and Allison Williams and her husband, Thomas of Kershaw, S.C.; grandchildren, Shawn (Stephanie) Roberts, Matthew (Kimberly) Roberts, Troy (Madison) Love, Jaylen Love, Dazsa Harris, Kierra Harris ; great grandchildren, Ella Roberts, Hudson Roberts, Preston Roberts, Colton Roberts, Bryce Williams, Xavier Williams, Natalia Williams, and Kristian Williams, Atreus Harris; 2 great grandchildren on the way, Baby Roberts and Baby Love; her brother, William (Mary) Mosley of Kershaw, S.C.; 3 sisters-in-law, Dixie Mosley, Myra Hudson and Barbara Faris and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Mosley and her sister, Peggy Ann M. Williams.

The family will greet friends, Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held immediately following the visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Braswell will officiate. The burial will follow in Kershaw City Cemetery.
