Jerry Wayne Geiger

A memorial service for Jerry Wayne Julio Geiger, 59, will be held Saturday, February 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate. Memorials may be made to the State Office of Victim Assistance, Edgar Brown Building, Room 401, 1205 Pendleton Street, Columbia, S. C. 29201.

Mr. Geiger was born in Jefferson, S.C., the son of the late Jake Jeff and Grace Rollings Geiger. He was formerly employed at Hermitage Mill and former caretaker of Kershaw City Cemetery. He attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of his sister, Carol Taylor and will receive friends one prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

Surviving are sisters; Betty Jean Stevens and Carol Taylor both of Kershaw; brothers, Tony Geiger of Camden, and Howard Geiger of Kershaw; step-sons, Aaron & Junior. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy C. Geiger, sister, Gail Byrd, and brothers, Jackie Geiger and Billy Joe Geiger.
