Jerry Wayne Blackmon

A graveside inurnment service for Jerry Wayne Blackmon, 76 of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at White Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Humphries will officiate. Mr. Blackmon died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at his home. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late John Theron and Willie Ruth Killough Blackmon. He was a distributor of imported goods and of Protestant faith. Surviving are his companion of 25 years, Christine Walker of the home, 17 children; a number of grandchildren; 2 brothers, Billy Ray Blackmon of Kershaw, Kenneth Lee Blackmon of Lancaster; 2 sisters, Clara Jean Pardue of Kershaw and Rita Kay Barfield of Fort Mill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley K. Blackmon and his grandmother who help raise him, Eula Arant Killough.
