Jerry Dale Hinson

Funeral services for Jerry Dale Hinson, 70, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010, in Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Dale Myers and Craigan Blankenship will officiate.

Mr. Hinson died Saturday, October 23, 2010, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Monroe, N.C., he was the son of the late John C. and Thelma Hunnicutt Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a carpenter and former police officer. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are a daughter; Cindy Bolin (Troy) of Westville, 2 sons; Len Hinson (Tammie) of Westville and Daryl Hinson of Kershaw, 2 granddaughters; Amy Bolin of Columbia, Aly Bolin of Westville, a brother; John R. Hinson (Barbara) of Harrison, AR. He was preceded in death by a brother; Marshall Hinson and 4 sisters; Ruby Haney, Margie Schlappich, Sarah Craft and Sandra Owens.

The family will receive friends, Monday, October 25, one hour prior to the service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of his daughter, 273 Fletcher Drive, Westville, S.C. 29175
