Jeremy Andrew Deese

A funeral service for Jeremy Andrew Deese, 30, of Kershaw, SC will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2015, in the sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate. Mr. Deese died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at his home. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of Roger Dale Deese and Barbara Cheryl Mangum Phillips. He was a auto mechanic and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He also enjoyed riding his four wheeler and fishing. Surviving are his mother, Cheryl M. Phillips of Kershaw, SC; his father and step-mother, Roger Dale (Eunice) Deese of Jefferson, SC; a brother, Nathan Deese of Kershaw, SC; a sister, Lynn Bowers and her husband Donnie Of Heath Springs, SC; two nieces, Natalie Deese and Calissa Bowers; two nephews, Colin and Camry Bowers; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Eubanks Mangum of Kershaw, SC and paternal grandmother, Kathryn Madden of Kershaw, SC. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Neil Mangum. The family will receive friends, Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 5278 Newman Road, Kershaw, SC. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2140 McBee Highway, Jefferson, SC 29718. Baker Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Deese.
