Janie Irene Deese

Janie Irene Deese, age 78, of Lake Wateree, Liberty Hill, S.C. passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her home. Born in Newark, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Charles Mehok and Betty Hickenbotton Mehok . She was an accounts payable clerk.

Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Deese; 3 children, Jennifer M. Sullivan Wiles and her husband, Scott, Charles Wyatt Deese and his wife, Suni and James Garrison Deese; 6 great grandchildren, Garrett (Kristin) Wiles, Aiden Wiles, A. Paige Fredenberg, Adam (Kaylee) Deese, Tyler (Baylee) Deese and Baylee (Tyler) Threatt; 4 great grandchildren, Maria Michelle Wiles, Auden Fredenberg, Asher Fredenburg and Addison Drew Threatt; her sister, Linda Shaffer; cousins, Misty Amacher, Brian Berry, Shane Mehok and Jamie Jolley and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Michael Mehok.

Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2:00P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the home of her daughter.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
