Funeral services for Janice Griffin Robinson, 53, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Center Grove Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Gary Harris and Steve Miller will officiate.

Mrs. Robinson, widow of Gary Charles Robinson, died Friday, October 15, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late William Nay and Bertha Roach Griffin. She was a former Deli-Bakery Manager at Winn Dixie in Camden and a cosmetologist. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church, where she had previously taught Sunday School, served as Vacation Bible School Director, a choir member and taught children's sermons.

Surviving are a daughter; Wanda Robinson of Lancaster, 4 sisters; Nadine Hinson (Ronny) of Kershaw, Betty Payne (Jimmy) of Kershaw, Patsy Kivett of Lancaster, Pansy Seegars (Dennis) of Kershaw, her mother-in-law: Betty Robinson of Kershaw, 14 loving nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; Freddie and Cindy Robinson of Charleston, Larry and Shirley Robinson of Stockbridge, GA, sister-in-laws and brothers-in-laws; Janice and Larry Bradley of Kershaw, and Becky and Billy Clem of Kershaw.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, 172 Floyd Road, Kershaw.

Memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 263 Scout Cabin Road, Kershaw, S.C. or the charity of one's choice.
