A gathering to celebrate the life of Jane Ann Henson Kennedy, 87 of Kershaw, South Carolina and formerly of Springfield, Massachusetts, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, at Baker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kennedy passed away, Saturday, May 28, at KershawHealth in Camden. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Esther Regan Tourangeau. She retired from the US Postal Service as a clerk in Springfield after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Agawam, American Legion Post 185 Auxiliary and the John Boyle O’Reilly Club. Mrs. Kennedy was also a former member of the Sons of Erin in Westfield. She was first married to the late Jack Henson and second to the late Anthony Kennedy.
Surviving are her son, John P. Henson of SC; 3 daughters, Marie Maher, Kristine Henson-Case both of Massachusetts and Debra Henson of SC; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and a brother, Bernard Tourangeau of Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her grandson, John Patrick Henson; a sister, Rita Wall and a brother, Edward Tourangeau.
