James Richard Bowers

James Richard Skully Bowers, 41, died Thursday, June 17, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James Edward and Jacqueline Stevens Bowers. He was a carpenter.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Rachel Elizabeth Bowers, Stephanie Renee Bowers both of Cassatt, a son; Gregory Richard Bowers of Kershaw, a step-daughter; Kelly Corbett of Camden, a step-son; Shawn Corbett of Camden and his fiance; Lynn Corbett of Camden, 4 sisters; Patricia Ann Hilton of Cassatt, Ella Delores Seegars of Lancaster, Gail Adams of Kershaw and Annette Hamilton of Mt. Croghan.

The family will hold a memorial service at 3:00 P.M., Monday, June 21, at Abney Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Dr. Todd Morris and Todd Warnock with inurnment to follow in the church cemetery.. The family will speak to friends following the service and at the home, 10 Oak Drive, Kershaw.
