James Muroe Sullivan

Funeral service for James Muroe Sullivan, 83, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 25, in Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Owens will officiate.

Mr. Sullivan died Tuesday, June 23, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Minor and Madge Johnson Sullivan. He was retired from the Kendall Co. and a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Sullivan served our country in the US Army.

Surviving are 3 sons; James E. Jimmy Sullivan, Timmy Sullivan, both of Kershaw and Barry Sullivan of Bakersville, N.C., 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, 5 sisters; Emmadine Wright, Marguerite S. Rollins, Bobbie Ruth Reeves, Mary Louise Jackson all of Kershaw, and Jolene Twitty of Lancaster. He was predeceased by a son; Jerry Thomas Tommy Sullivan, a sister; Etta Mae Williams and 4 brothers; Buster Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, William Sullivan and Steve Sullivan.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 24, from 5 to 7 at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 503 W. Church St.
