James Edward Gardner

A memorial service for James Edward Gardner, 73 of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Frankie Melton will officiate. Mr. Gardner died Friday, March 7, in Carolinas Hospital, Florence. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late James Lee and Dona Ada Shute Gardner. Mr. Gardner was a graduate of Kershaw High School and of Baptist faith. Surviving are his brother, David R. Gardner and his wife Helen Jeanette Adams Gardner and a niece, Elizabeth Ann Gardner all of Heath Springs. A private burial will be held in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
