James Curry Meadors

James Curry “Jimmy” Meadors, 62, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Wednesday evening, February 23, 2022, at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston, S.C., Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was a son of the late James Miller Meadors and Ila Francis Curry Meadors. He was a former school bus driver for Richland County School District and a member of North Columbia Baptist Church, Columbia, S.C. He loved building models. He was an avid Star- Trek and Sci-Fi fan. He also loved anything involving aliens.

Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia Roberts “Trish” Meadors; 2 sons, J. Christopher “Chris” Meadors and his wife, Amy and Jonathan Meadors; 3 grandchildren, Zarah, Emmalee and Jerikah and his sister, Susie Kistler and her husband, George.

The family will greet friends, Sunday afternoon, February 27, 2022, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home prior to the service.

Funeral services for Mr. Meadors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Pastor Jeffrey T. Scott will officiate.

Those attending the service are asked to bring a sticker of any kind to place on the casket.

Burial will follow the service in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Meadors may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
