James Lee Bowers

James Lee Bowers, age 63, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his home. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late John Benjamin Bowers and Sara Edna West Bowers. He was a graduate of North Central High School and a former employee of Grace Bleachery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was a NASCAR fan and a Carolina Gamecocks fan.

Mr. Bowers is survived by his brothers and sisters; Sara Ellis, Mary Ann Cook, Pete (Dottie) Bowers, Jerry (Rowena) Bowers, Donald Bowers, Vickie Catoe, Roger Bowers, Judy (Charles) Sullivan, Larry (Regina) Bowers and George Bowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Jesse Bowers, Peggy White and Kathy Keihart.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses or the charity of one’s choice.

No formal services will be held at this time. A private service will be held later.
