James Barry Wallace, 64, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., he was a son of the late William Henry Wallace and Arlevia Payne Wallace. He worked in the textile industry and was a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church. Mr. Wallace also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Surviving are his daughter, Jamie Ann Wallace; 2 sons, William James Wallace and Christopher Albert Wallace all of Columbus, GA; 6 grandchildren, Michael Porter, Jr., Jazaiah Porter, Kendall Wyatt, C.J. Wallace, Blaze Wallace and Dakota Wallace; a sister, Peggy Ann Brown and her husband, Frankie of Kershaw, S.C.; 3 brothers, William Bruce Wallace and his wife, Virginia of Kershaw, S.C., Kenny Wallace and his wife, Barbara of Camden, S.C. and Bobby Charles Wallace, Sr. and his wife, Tiffany of Kershaw, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a graveside memorial service, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Adam Wright will officiate.
