Jackie Lee Austin

Jackie Lee Austin, age 60, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of Sylvia “Sue” Roberts Austin and the late Bobby Lee Austin.

Jackie worked as a security guard For Suominen Nonwovens, Bethune, S.C. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tina Dollarhyde Austin; his children, Daniel Humphries of Bethune, S.C., Ashley Moses of Cassatt, S.C. and Nolan Killian of the home; 2 grandsons, Ethan Paul Howard and Darius “Ty” Shropshire also known as Shotgun and his 2 sisters, Bobbie Lynn Austin of Camden, S.C. and Pamela Austin Youmans of Kershaw, S.C.

A service to celebrate and remember his life will be held later.
