Iva Lee Payne

Funeral services for Iva Lee Price Payne, 91 of Kershaw will be held at 1:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate. Burial will follow in the Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Payne, widow of Mendel Smith Payne died Saturday evening at KershawHealth, Camden, SC. Born in Jefferson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Buddy and Pearl Blackmon Price. She was a former employee of Springs Industries and a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church. Mrs. Payne also enjoyed sewing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Brenda P. Dixon and her husband Chris of Camden, SC; 3 sons, Wendell R. Payne and his wife Sharon of Kershaw, SC, Benny Payne and his wife Cindy of Chicago, Illinois, Todd Payne and his wife Linda of Camden, SC; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her special friend and companion, Charles McInvaille.

The family will receive friends following the committal service at the cemetery in the Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
