Isaac Shepherd Sullivan

Isaac Shepherd Sullivan, 88, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away at his home, Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Born in Cheraw, S.C., he was a son of the late Robert Herbert Sullivan and Dollie Jane Harpe Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a retired rural letter carrier, a used car dealer and business owner of a convenience store. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Macedonia Masonic Lodge #239 AFM.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia (Peggy) Eubanks Sullivan; his son Isaac (Ike) Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Leigh B. Sullivan of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; 4 sisters, Clarine Ogburn Bradley of Greensboro, N.C., Cora Lee Newman of Kershaw, S.C., Helen Horton of Jefferson, S.C. and Loretta Belk of Florence, S.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Grace Suddreth and Margaret Truesdale and 5 brothers, Clayton Sullivan, Carol Sullivan, Ralph Sullivan, Ray Sullivan, and William (Bud) Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, December 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson, S.C. The Revs. Terry Corder and Stan Sullivan will officiate.

A private family burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Saturday prior to the service in the church sanctuary from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Sullivan family would like to thank Betsy Knight, Brenda Goatley and the entire Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church family for the love and care shown to the family.

Memorials in Mr. Sullivan’s memory may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2140 McBee Hwy., Jefferson, S.C. 29718.
