Irbie Ray Williams, 65, of Kershaw, passed away, Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in Prisma Health Richland, Columbia. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Ross Edward Williams and Dorothy Faulkenberry Williams. He retired from Haile Gold Mine and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Mr. Williams enjoyed fishing, hunting and catching snakes. He was excellent at knot tying and loved to cook. He also enjoyed martial arts.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda P. Williams; his daughter, Mica Street and her husband Douglas; his son, Chase Williams; 2 step-grandchildren, Rebekah Street and Chance Street; 3 brothers, Gary E. Williams and his wife, Yvette, Danny C. Williams and his wife, Linda and Roland F. “Ricky” Williams and a sister-in-law, Judy Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dale Williams.
The family will greet friends, Saturday, September 19, prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. in the Kershaw Second Baptist Church sanctuary.
A celebration of life service will be held, Saturday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m., in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Hinson will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
