Inez Hinson Austin

A funeral service for Inez Hinson Austin, 82 of Kershaw, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, in Abney Baptist Church. The Revs. Scott Robinson and David Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Austin died Thursday, June 16, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Edward Clifton and Matilda Irene Taylor Hinson. She was a member of Abney Baptist Church and a avid Clemson Tiger football fan.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Earl Glenn Austin, Sr. of the home; a son, Mitchell Dale Austin and his wife Pat of Kershaw; 5 grandchildren, Mark, Laura, Chris, Danielle and Kyle; 5 great-grandchildren, Carmen, Devone, Tyler, Jacob and Shay; a sister, Mary A. Haire and her husband Howard of Lancaster; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Austin of Kershaw and a sister-in-law, Henrietta Hinson of Hartsville. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl Glenn Austin, Jr. and 2 brothers, Floyd and Leroy Hinson.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 868 Monarch Place, Kershaw.
