Helen Jeanette A. Gardner

A graveside service for Helen Jeanette Adams Gardner, 70 of Heath Springs, SC will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Frankie Melton will officiate. Mrs. Gardner died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Carolinas Specialty Hospital, Charlotte, NC. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Annie Lou Reeves Adams. In her early years she was employed with Springs Industries and later became a homemaker. She enjoyed making quilts and doing genealogy research. She was also a graduate of Heath Springs High School and a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, David Gardner; her daughter, Elizabeth Gardner both of the home and a brother, Donnie Adams of Heath Springs.
