Harry Hilton

Harry Hilton, age 88, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Saturday evening, May 13, 2023, at his home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Leonidas D. Hilton and Emily Ruth O’Banion Hilton. He retired from Springs Industries and served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Hilton loved the outdoors, walking in the neighborhood, animals and telling stories.

Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Nancy Roberts Hilton of the home; 2 children, Patty Hilton Small and her husband, Larry of Fort Lawn, S.C. and Mickey David Hilton and his fiancé, Penny Gardner of Kershaw, S.C.; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Reynolds and her husband, Cal, Stephanie Michelle Newton and her husband, Jason, Emily Nicole Irwin, Jason Eric Hilton, and Cari Alyssa Hilton and 2 great grandchildren, Kelsie Newton, and Jayden Newton.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Todd Montgomery will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family is at home.

Memorial remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue- Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, in memory of Mr. Hilton.
