Grady F. Horton

Funeral services for Grady Floyd Horton, 68, of Kershaw, will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Conference Center, Kershaw with burial to follow in McBee Cemetery, McBee, S.C. Rev. Trent McLaughlin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Center. Memorials may be made to Kershaw Senior Citizens, P.O. Mr. Horton died Tuesday, May 3, at his home. Born in Hartsville, he was the son of the late Floyd and Eva Mae Shaw Horton. He was a carpenter and a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Horton enjoyed bowling, auctions and traveling.

Surviving are his children; Jack Horton and companion, Linda, Joey Horton and his companion, Missy, and Randy Horton and his wife, Shanna, all of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother; Jimmy Horton of McBee; special friend; Marilyn Price; the mother of his children; Laura Horton and a niece, Patricia Flynn. He was predeceased by a son, Blake Kenneth Ken Horton and a sister; Marian Graham.
