Glendora Byrd Jones

Glendora Byrd Jones, age 86, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Thursday evening, February 27, 2025, at her son's home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William Henry Byrd and Eva Mae Knight Byrd. Mrs. Jones was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by 4 children, Sherry Brown and her husband, Danny, Melissa Payne, Regina Moseley and her husband, Robbie and Howard C. Jones, II and his wife, Samantha all of Kershaw, S.C.; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Nyburg of Columbia, S.C. and 2 brothers, Mike Byrd of Hartsville, S.C. and Charles Byrd of Panama City, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Jones and siblings, Annie Sue Burnside, William E. Byrd, Joe Wayne Byrd, Peggy Davis, June Byrd Bowers, Judy Queen Byrd and Patricia Cawley.
