Glenda McNaughton Williams

Glenda Carol McNaughton Williams, age 78 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Friday morning, January 3, 2025, at her home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late James Alexander McNaughton and Connie Knight McNaughton. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Kershaw High School and retired from working in Lancaster County Government and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s office. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed walking, swinging in her swing and going out to eat. Mrs. Williams was a Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant for 38 years.

She is survived by her daughter Heather Williams Duncan and her husband, Rusty of Lancaster, S.C.; her son, Greg Williams and his wife, Carrie of Kershaw, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Bryce Duncan, Blake Duncan, Meredith Duncan and Ryker Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin “Frank” Williams; her sister, Marcine McNaughton and 2 brothers, James “Buddy” McNaughton and Melvin McNaughton. 

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Williams will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. T. Jason Moss will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery. 

The family will greet friends, following the graveside service in the cemetery. 

Memorial remembrances may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, 7737 Kershaw Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 where she was a member.
