Gail Reeves Hunt

Services for Gail Reeves Hunt, 67, will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Baptist Church, 6437 Oak Hill Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720. The Revs. Cliff Henson and Marty Roberts will officiate. Mrs. Hunt died Monday, May 11, 2015 in Providence Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Reeves and Dorothy Bell Robertson Mangum. She retired from Kershaw County Medical Center after 25 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Hunt loved crafts, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Farrel Lynn Hunt; son, Jonny Thompson (Jami) of Lancaster; daughters, Tracie Windham (Lee) of Bishopville, Jamie Coker (Bryan) of Manning, and Jessica Whitler (Bobby) of Sumter; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Henderson of Lake Wateree, Kathy Wallace of Lancaster, and Kay Carnes of Hendersonville, NC; brothers, Robert Reeves of Lancaster, Tony Mangum of Gastonia, NC and Charles Mangum of Rock Hill. The family is receiving friends at the home at 1105 Roebuck Dr. ,Lancaster. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr., Cayce, S.C. 29033.
