Fay Phillips

Funeral services for Iva Lee Fay Phillips, 77, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2008 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Jeske will officiate.

Miss Phillips died Saturday, December 20, 2008, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Minton and Deanie Robinson Phillips. She was retired from Springs Industries and a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church. Miss Phillips also enjoyed reading.

Surviving are her siblings; Joyce Watts of Kershaw, Minton Phillips and his wife Carol of Kershaw, J.W. Phillips and his wife, Kathy of Lancaster, Donnie Phillips and his wife Frankie of Kershaw, Catherine Blackmon and her husband, Calvin of Lancaster and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters; Ethel Lucas, Dot Bolton and Isabell Phillips.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
