Evelyn Reeves Faulkenberry

Funeral services for Evelyn Reeves Faulkenberry, 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 20, 2009, in Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Hugh McKinney and Don Knight will officiate.

Mrs. Faulkenberry died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Daze and Beulah R. Reeves. She was retired from Springs Industries and a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She was first married to the late J.B. Catoe and second to the late Edgar Faulkenberry.

Surviving are three daughters; Patsy C. Davis and her husband, Mitchell of Matthews, N.C., Peggy C. Munn and her husband Joey of Kershaw, Gloria Faulkenberry Robinson and her husband Steve of Lancaster, three sons; Tony Faulkenberry and his wife Frances, Ronnie Faulkenberry and his wife Lavilla and Ricky Faulkenberry and his wife Kathy all of Lancaster, eighteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Mildred Wilkerson, Margaret Bryant and Cecile Kinnett.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, February 19, 2009, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 6620 Munn Road, Kershaw.
