Graveside services for Eloise Hunter Rabon, 89, of Kershaw, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, March 10, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Michael Owens will officiate.
Mrs. Rabon, loving wife of the late Theodore Robert “Lo” Rabon died Wednesday, March 7, at PalmettoHealth Richland Hospital, Columbia. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late James Arthur Hunter and Pearlie Knight Hunter. She was a former employee of Springs Industries and a licensed practical nurse, practicing 30 years. She retired from White Oak Manor, Lancaster. Mrs. Rabon was a faithful member of Sand Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Kings Daughter’s Sunday School Class. She enjoyed walking and reading her bible.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Robbie Rabon (Jerome) Ellis of Kershaw, Staci Rabon (James “Chuck” ) Bryant of Lexington; 2 grandsons, William Robert “Will” Ellis and Jake Thomas Bryant; her sister, Joline Hunter (Alden) Wooten of Kershaw and her special canine companion, Rusty. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband by 2 brothers, Hazel Hunter and Lloyd “Gabby” Hunter and her sister, Nell H. Gandy.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at Baker Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Rabon may be made to Sand Hill Baptist Church, 6895 Highway 341, Kershaw, SC 29067.
