Graveside services for Elizabeth Lib Williams Hinson, 83, will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Salem Cemetery. Rev. Barry Cannon will officiate.

Mrs. Hinson loving wife of 56 years to the late James Furman Hinson died Saturday, March 26, in Lexington Medical Center, Lexington. Born in McBee, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Clyburn Beattie and Ruth Louise W. Williams. She was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church where she served as organist for many years. She was a graduate of Heath Springs High School and attended Queens College. Mrs. Hinson also taught piano lessons and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her 2 daughters; Beth H. Neal and her husband Bryant of Lexington, Susan H. Hood and her husband Craig of Simpsonville, four grandchildren; Austin Hood, Jacob Hood, Laura Beth Neal and Bry Neal, a sister; Helen Williams Rentz of Bamberg and a sister-in-law; Miriam Hinson Murphree of Mooresville, N.C. She was preceded in death by a brother; Edward Clyburn Williams and a granddaughter; Emily Elizabeth Neal.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Salem United Methodist Church.
