Elizabeth Baker Clark

Graveside services for Elizabeth Baker Shug Clark, 94, of the Angelus Community, Jefferson, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, in Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Baker and Rev. Stephenie Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, July 10 at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, from 6:00 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church, 1357 Johnson Road, Jefferson, SC 29718.

Mrs. Clark, widow of Hoyt Clark died Wednesday, July 8. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel Jackson and Cora Blackmon Baker. Mrs. Clark taught school in Bethune for 35 years. She was a graduate of Limestone College and a member of Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sisters-in-law; Catherine Baker of Heath Springs and Myrtle Baker of Lugoff and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers; Jack Baker, John Baker, Price Baker, Oran Baker, Arron Baker and three sisters; Rosa Lee Baker, Eva Allen and Mary Fletcher.
