Elaine Langley Owens

Elaine Langley Owens, age 80 of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Saturday evening, September 9, 2023, at her home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Carson Lee Langley and Eva Mae Taylor Langley. Mrs. Owens had worked as a phlebotomist at Washington County Hospital. She loved working in her yard. Mrs. Owens was a member of Bethany Westville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Roscoe Owens, Jr., her son, Alex Watts, and a host of friends who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Wooten and 3 brothers, Howard, Edward, and Robert Lee Langley.

The family will greet friends, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Bethany Westville Baptist Church sanctuary .

The funeral service for Mrs. Owens will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. The burial will be held in the church cemetery.
