Effie Joretta "Jettie" Mills

Effie Joretta “Jettie” Mills, age 91, of Heath Springs, S.C. passed away, Sunday morning, December 22, 2024, at her home. Born in Heath Springs, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eulece Neal and Macie Rebecca Welch Neal, Mrs. Mills retired from Springs Industries after 26 years of service. She was a faithful member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Vicki Vick and her husband, Ronnie, Becky Roberts and her husband, Ronnie and Donna Parker; 2 stepsons, Dwayne Mangum and Johnny Mangum and his wife, Denise; 6 grandchildren a number of step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a sister, Emilie Cole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Mills and 2 sisters, Frankie Horne and Shelby Horne.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, from 9:00 to10:00 A.M. in the church Family Life Center.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the church Family Life Center. The Revs. Zach Byrd and Danny Martin will officiate the service. The Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
