Funeral services for Edward David Bradley, 88, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2011 in Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The Revs. Jamie Rogers, Don Knight and Greg Sweet will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Camden.

Mr. Bradley died Thursday, April 7, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Levy L. and Ellie Dease Bradley. Mr. Bradley was retired from Springs Industries. He was a active member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School teacher, Treasurer and Clerk, Sunday School Director, Church Training Union Director and Deacon. Mr. Bradley also loved gardening and farming.

Surviving are his wife; Doris Roberts Bradley of the home; three children; Donald E. Bradley and his wife Patsy of Piedmont, Frohn B. Todd and her husband Dewey of Kershaw, Tracy Bradley and his wife Jimmie Diane of Lugoff, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four sisters; Reba Thompson of Camden, Peggy Jones of Lexington, Marie Bussart of Bishopville, Judy Bradley of Columbia, two brothers; Earl Bradley of Kershaw and Cecil Bradley of Bethune. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Donnie Bradley, Clyde Bradley, James Bradley and a sister; Bobbie Jean Redmon.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, Sunday, April 10, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the church Family Life Center and other times at the home, 426 North Matson Street, Kershaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, 7737 Kershaw-Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
