Graveside funeral services for Edith Gillingham Williams, will be held Saturday, May 1, at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Elder Greg Robinson will officiate. The family will greet friends Friday, April 30, from 7:00 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1285 Kershaw Highway, Camden, SC 29020.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, April 28. Born in Summerville, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gillingham and Edith Hughes Gillingham. She was formerly employed with the John Hancock Company and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Williams loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles, and keep children.
Surviving are her husband, James A. Jim Williams, Sr.; daughter, Debbie Merrell and her husband, Mike of Camden; son, Jimmy Williams and his wife, Stephanie, of Murrells Inlet; and four grandchildren.
