Edith G. Faulkenberry

Funeral services for Edith Floye Gaynor Faulkenberry, 85, will be held Saturday, August 1, at
2:00 p.m. in Abney Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Dr. Todd Morris and Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abney Baptist Church - Building Fund, 5081 Bethune Road, Kershaw, SC 29067 or Hospice of Kershaw County, 2001 W. DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Mrs. Faulkenberry, widow of William Turner Faulkenberry, died Thursday, July 30. She was
born in Kershaw, the daughter of the late Julius Caesar and Mary Louise Mosley Gaynor. Mrs. Faulkenberry was a member of Abney Baptist Church and the Sunshiners Group and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her children; Diane Boone (C.L.), Doris Johnson (Eddie), Dale Faulkenberry (Vera), Judy Barrett (Donnie), Jerry Faulkenberry (Linda), Kathy Payne (Jeffrey), Faye Sims (Terry) and Scotty Faulkenberry (Karen) all of Kershaw; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Steve Faulkenberry.
