A graveside service for Earl Dean Robinson, 83, of Kershaw, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Saturday, September 16, in Kershaw City Cemetery with Military honors. The Rev. Ronnie Hinson will officiate assisted by Rev. Bobby James.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service in the cemetery and other times at the home, 7318 Sandhill Rd., Kershaw.
Mr. Robinson died Thursday, September 14, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Robert Brice and Sallie Williams Robinson. He retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson was an avid Gamecock fan and loved his family and grandchildren. He also served his country in the United States Army.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Ruth F. Robinson of 63 years; a son, Earl Robinson and his wife Tracy; a daughter, Pam R. Knight and her husband Jon all of Kershaw; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Robinson, Joshua Robinson, Zachary Robinson and Bryan Knight; a great granddaughter, Olivia Knight; 3 sisters, Peggy R. Williams and her husband Joe Earl, Shirley R. Byrd and her husband Bobby all of Kershaw , Patricia R. Shaw of Columbia and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bruce “Bud” Robinson.
