A service to celebrate the life of Earl Dean Freeman, 50, of Bethune, will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2010, in Pineview Baptist Church, Kershaw. The Revs. Gregory Gunter and Todd Gandy will officiate.
Mr. Freeman died Saturday, December 4, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late J.T. and Hattie Rollins Freeman. Mr. Freeman was employed with NewSouth/Confor as a Millwright. He enjoyed farming, horseback riding, gardening and his animals. Mr. Freeman was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and served in the South Carolina National Guard.
Surviving are his wife; Donna Hightower Freeman of the home, 2 daughters; Paige Freeman and Stephanie Freeman of the home, 4 brothers; Thomas H. Freeman (Judy), Jessie T. Freeman (Margaret), Lonnie J. Freeman and Donnie L. Freeman all of Bethune, 4 sisters; Betty Bartell (Wayne), Peggy Thompson (Gary), Pat Robinson (Larry) all of Kershaw and Mae Blackmon (Frankie) of Bethune. He was preceded in death by a brother; James E. Freeman.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
