Dwynell James King, 85, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Monday evening, April 4, 2022, at his home. Born in Alpena, Michigan. He was a son of the late Dwynell James King, Sr. and Grace Summerfield King. He was a former heavy equipment operator for the pipeline in Alaska.
Mr. King was talented in making leather goods. He also rode rodeo for many years. Many people referred to him as the” Leatherman” or “Cowboy”.
He is survived by 5 children, Kenneth King, Rex King, Royce King, Wayne King, Patti King Tindel and Gregory King and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his caregiver, Anne Laney and friends who cared about him in the community.
No formal services will be held at this time. A private service will be held later.
