Drew Brown

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jonathan Drew Brown, 29 of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 6:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. Drew died Saturday, February 14, 2015, at his home. Born in Chester, SC, he was a son of Joseph William “Joe” Brown, Jr. and Wanda Pearson Brown. He was a graduate of North Central High School and a electrician with Williams Electric. Drew was a avid Florida Gators fan. Surviving are his mother, Wanda P. Brown of Chester, SC; his father, Joe Brown of Kershaw, SC; a sister, Taylor Brown; a brother, Joey Brown both of Kershaw, SC; his maternal grandfather, Donald Pearson of Chester, SC; his paternal grandmother, Dee Carmichael of Jacksonville, FL and a nephew, Levi Leonard. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jay Brown and his maternal grandmother, Sara Pearson. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, SC 29067 in memory of Drew to help with funeral expenses. Baker Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Brown.
