Funeral services for Douglas Craig “Doug” Vincent, 67 of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Abney Baptist Church. Rev. David Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Vincent died Sunday, April 13, 2014, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Clyde Jefferson, Sr. and Gladys Craig Vincent. Mr. Vincent was a member of Abney Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed visiting others and boating. He also was a carpenter. Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Teressa Todd Vincent of the home; 2 daughters, Tonya Vincent of Kershaw, Kimberly Griffis and her husband Kelly of Crawfordville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Katelyn, Kandice and Kaleb Griffis; a sister, Barbara Doss of Powdersville, SC; a brother, Clyde Vincent of Kershaw and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1450 Scott Rd., Kershaw.
