Donnie Steele

Funeral services for Donnie Steele, 61, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 9, 2009, in Sand Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Chadwick Ivester will officiate.

Mr. Steele died Friday, March 6, 2009. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Louise Steele Lyles and the late Walter Sikes Steele. He was retired from Dupont Co. and currently worked for U T I as a supervisor. Mr. Steele was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Sara S. Steele, two sons; Chris Steele and his wife Paula, Bryan Steele and his wife Melissa, two grandchildren; Cameron Steele and Tyler McMillan all of Kershaw, a brother; Larry Steele and his wife Gidget of Alma, Arkansas and a sister; Linda Roberts and her husband Russell of Heath Springs.

The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, March 8, 2009, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.
