Donnie Lynn Scott

Funeral services for Donnie Lynn Scott, 62, will be held Friday, September 18, at 4:00 p.m. at Buffalo Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Reverends W.J. Wallace and Thomas Sullivan will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.

Mr. Scott died Tuesday, September 15. Born November 30, 1946 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Leonard C. Scott, Sr. and Mary Gardner Scott. Mr. Scott was the owner of Scott Electric Company. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and a US Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Hinson Scott; children, Christopher Scott of Elgin, Timothy (Charity) Scott of Kershaw, Jimmy McClain of Wilmington, NC, Angie (Larry) Jordan of Pageland, and Mikey (Santana) McClain of Kershaw; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Jane) Scott of South Pittsburgh, TN, and Leonard (Mary) Scott, Jr. of Kershaw.
