Dennis LeRoy Bundy

Dennis LeRoy Bundy, age 72, of Lancaster, S.C. passed away, Sunday, March 2, 2025, at MUSC Charleston, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of the late Gary Bundy and Mary Carnes Bundy. Mr. Bundy was a graduate of Buford High School and a former employee of Springs Industries. He enjoyed working on cars. He also loved wildlife and animals. Mr. Bundy cherished the time he spent with his brother and was an avid Elvis music fan.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 children, Angie B. (Ray) Hegler, Eddie (Tara) Hayes, Chris (Gale) Hayes; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and his brother, David Bundy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Joshua Hayes and Dustin Hegler and siblings, Jerry Bundy, Larry Bundy, Clara Beckham and Jane Beckham.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 

The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

Memorial remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
